UKCTCS awarded grant from the Department of Health for pilot projects

Researchers from the UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies have been awarded £1.2 million to conduct pilot projects in six settings associated with health inequalities.

The projects will expand cessation services in six areas:

Children's services
Mental health
Prisons
Smokeless tobaco use
Smoking in pregnancy.
