Dr Abraham Brown, University of Stirling
Abraham was appointed in 2009 to the post of UKCTCS Research Fellow to work on a four country ITC study that investigates the effects of tobacco control policies in these countries. More about the International Tobacco Control project can be found on the ITC website .
Dr Rosemary Hisock, University of Bath
Rosemary was appointed in 2009 and is studying smoking related inequalities in health.
Dr Laura Jones, University of Nottingham
Laura has obtained funding from the National Institute for Health Research as part of the programme grant to study reducing children's environmental tobacco smoke exposure in the home. Funding will last from March 2010 - February 2015.
Dr Hayden McRobbie, Queen Mary University of London
Hayden has been assessing the effects of an extended period of varenicline use prior to quitting smoking and how this affects urges to smoke after this time. He has applied for a personal NIHR fellowship to continue this important work.
