Join the new Student Video Team - apply now!

The University is launching an exciting project this academic year with its new Student Video Team, and we’re looking for five students with a passion for all things video to join the team. 

We’d like a range of people to apply: undergraduate and postgraduate, home and international, from all faculties.

The role will require students to work seven hours each week during term-time (with some flexibility) at a rate of £6.35 per hour.

Student Ambassador Scheme - part-time work

If you are a full-time student at the University, you can apply to become a Student Ambassador.

This is a paid flexible scheme to fit around your studies.

Finance - funding, scholarships and bursaries

The University can support you in a variety of ways including bursaries to help you get through the academic year, and scholarships towards tuition fees for a particular course of study.

Enterpriselab - business and entrepreneurial skills

The Enterpriselab aims to provide an environment in which students, graduates and staff can learn about the practical aspects of business development and build on their entrepreneurial skills.

Success stories include Stash Monkey - a university sportswear company started by two University of Nottingham students. 

 

It's better by bike

The University of Nottingham is committed to sustainable transport.

The Sustrans cycling project working at the University aims to make cycling accessible to and enjoyable for all. Ucycle Nottingham works to promote and improve cycling for the whole University community. 

Through the Ucycle Student Bike Hire Scheme, students are able to hire a quality bike for up to nine months from £35. Perfect for students who want to get about on two wheels.
